Hi guys! Its 2018 and its been like 6 months since the last time I posted here.
Im back with another skin care blog! Yaaay!
So those are the products im using recently and im posting another blog after two weeks about my skin care routine now because its a lot different than my routine 6 months ago. im using a lot of different products and im doing different stuff for my skin and I cant wait to share it with you guys!
So anyway, I ran out of Laneige and other korean brands that im using so I tried the local brands which Ive been eyeing since last last year, Skin Potions and Hello Gorgeous. I discovered them when they werent that popular yet.
So for Hello Gorgeous
I think I followed Hello Gorgeous that time for their brightening set for 1k? I remember wanting to buy that set but it ran out of stock. Then they started going to bazaars and a lot of people discovered them so I heard a lot of good reviews about their products. I never got the chance to visit at least one of their stores, so when I heard they're going to open a branch in SM North Edsa IM SO HYPED! thats far, but one MRT away from work so iz okaaaaay.
and I won 1000 voucher from Hello Gorgeous SM North Edsa!!! and these are the products that I got.

1. Glowing Peel Gel - This is the first item i picked because I need to exfoliate more haha! This product is okay for me, tho the smell is kinda weird(?) idk if it should smell like that but I guess the product absorbs the smell of its plastic container.
2. Purifying Facial Mask - I originally picked the active gold mask something but the lady told me that its for aging and wrinkles (and I only liked it bc its gold hahah) so I tried this and this product is gooooooooood. I recently had some dry patches on my left cheek :( I noticed some red bumps while on my way home and I got really frustrated. When I got home that night, I immediately cleansed my face and applied this mask, the redness and bumps disappeared the next day. thank you purifying facial mask!
3. Ultra Brightening Soap - I just wanna try one of their soaps so I got this. Fortunately, it's buy one take one! yay!
4. Unicorn Elixir (30ml) - ever since this product was introduced I already wanted it but 700+ pesos is too pricey for a student like me. I watched a lot of videos about this product and everyone's freaking out on how good this product is. Now that I've tried it, here's what I think of it:
*Its better to use it as skin care and not as a primer
- I tried it multiple times last week and it only made my face looks extra oily. I only use BB Cushion on my face and the oil made it run down my face :(
*Good for your nails too
- this product is spec
ial. its for the skin, nails, and hair! im sure the list is long but i tried it first on my skin and nails. No cuticles for a week just to observe if something would change. Well my nails didnt turn yellowish (bc that usually happens after removing the cuticles and not having my manicure/pedicure). It looks healthy now. I'll try the Unicorn Elixir on my hair this week. I'll update you guys on how it would turn out :)
*I will only use it on my night routine
- Well this product is good but it takes time for my face to absorb its oil and I dont wanna go outside at 5am looking oily.
ps. I like the first packaging of the elixir. The one with the white sticker, plus it seems like it has more gold flakes than the ones on the market these days.
Thats it for the Elixir :) Sorry that it got long, I guess you all need to know everything about it since its kinda pricey :))
Product Prices:
Glowing Peel Gel - 180 pesos (on sale)
Ultra Brightening Soap - 150 pesos (buy one take one)
Purifying Facial Mask - 260 pesos (on sale)
Unicorn Elixir - 700 pesos
Skin Potions

Guys! If only skin care products could get an award for being so good, these two will make you proud. They are always getting good reviews, always on the 'best-selling' list and would never disappoint. Go check some vlog reviews about them, but I suggest you dig deep. Look for those normal people who tried skin potions products, look for their before and after photos, and you'll soon want to have these on your skin care routine.
1. Tomato Serum (30ml - 280 pesos)
This serum is very lightweight. I tried applying it twice a day (morning and night) but it gave me dry patches on my left cheek. I know applying the serum is the reason because I never had dry patches on my face before plus tomato serum really dries up your skin so you cant put too much specially if you're not that oily. You also need to have a good moisturizer after applying the serum. Dont be scared of the dry patches, it would be gone after some time and you'll still thank this product for the pinkish glow and smaller pores :)
2. Snow Berry Cream (50g - 450 pesos)
This is probably one of my favorite skin care products. It has a strawberry scent (I LOVE STRAWBERRIES!!) and only after a week of using it, you will already see some changes. I rarely get pimples ever since I started a skin care routine, but when I get one, it leaves me with pimple marks that took time to disappear. :( But only after a week of using this product, I noticed the marks are fading. I also love waking up to glowing and smooth skin :---( thank you Snow Berry Cream.
Maybe the only thing I hate about this product is that it comes in a tub? I use a little spoon for masks and put it in another clean container and then I apply, all that hassle just to keep the product away from the bacteria.
Im definitely going to buy these two products again!
I guess thats it for today's blog! I hope this helps you decide on what product you want/need to buy for your skin. Feel free to ask me if you have questions about the blog, you can send a message on my blog. :)
Thank you for reading! See you on my next review! x
